ABOUT
Turn of the Century Design & Signs is a design studio and sign shop specializing in creative branding and high quality signs. Located in the heart of East Aurora, NY, we work with entrepreneurs, small businesses and large corporations with local, national and global reach. We have a strong customer focus and use a concept driven approach to deliver one-of-a-kind design and signs.
TOTC refers to both the 20th Century and the 21st Century, the era we grew up in. We merge traditional techniques with new ideas and are inspired by history, culture and origins. We enjoy learning about different industries, what they do and how things are made. We care about people and their stories. We collaborate and partner with others to make big ideas happen. Our goal is to beautify the world, help people and businesses flourish, and grow communities.
Our Team
Owners Tyler and Miranda Kirchmeyer are a husband and wife team who met while studying for their BFA in graphic design at Daemen College in Buffalo, NY. They both share an attention to detail and are passionate about art and design. Together, they offer a unique blend of creative services.
Tyler has over 10 years of experience in graphic design, sign making and environmental graphics. Alongside his studio work, he contributed to film productions as a scenic artist and sign painter, including projects such as A Quiet Place: Part II and Nightmare Alley.
Miranda specializes in graphic design, type design, illustration and lettering. Before joining the TOTC team, she worked for P22 type foundry in Buffalo, NY as a type designer and Norberg’s Art & Frame Shop in East Aurora, NY as a retail shop owner, framer and art curator.
